Topgear mag free Aston DVD
Discussion
the DVD is very good. it features a black RHD production vantage hooning round the nurburgring with chris porrit driving and providing an overview to that german woman who set the lap record a few years back. there are also some extra bits in the Aston section but i've not seen them yet.
Is it me just being Aston biast, or was that a really poorly written review by Clarkeson?
Ok we all know his back is but how many times did he mention it in the article and brush over stuff regards the car we wanted to know
Sorry , but I find him so hot and cold sometimes regards his writting.

Yep, clearly the pain was putting him in a bad mood. I can't believe he won't buy a DB9 as he has a fear of "complex V12 engines" Seeing as he often refers to this V12 as 2 Mondeo V6s bolted together, that kinda defeats his argument.
I've always liked Clarkson since his Performance Car days. Everyone's entitled to an off-day, just a pity it co-incided with the Vantage review.

For a freebie, that DVD was pretty good, although the "snow drifing" bit went on a bit
Oh, and doesn't it sound nice? Not quite as nice as the V12....but pretty darn close.
A small point, but it's a pity the old style black 'n silver number plates are no-longer legal.....the ones on the front of the titanium car looked great.
(the new XK looks much better on the road too!).

I have the DVD and you are welcome to it, just give me your address and I'll post it over - I'll stick it in a jiffy bag or if someone can upload it onto the net for all to see I'll post it to them, I have no idea how to do it or ability from a work PC. Let me know.
