Rapide battery replacement

Hi all, the colder weather is hitting my battery so thinking of changing it out before it lets me down.

It's been fitted with a YBX3017 previously, I note this is 175mm high not 190mm like most.

Has anyone found a descent replacement? All those suggested on websites stated as fitting are 190mm high, I've tried one that i have lying around and it's too tall, needs to be 175mm.

Have also searched for a long time:

Varta F18 Silver Dynamic 585 200 080, 85Ah, 800A, 353 x 175 x 175 mm

or

Varta F17 Blue Dynamic 580 406 074 Autobatterie 80Ah, 740A, 315 x 175 x 175 mm

or

Varta F5 Black Dynamic 588 403 074, 88Ah, 740A, 353 x 175 x 175 mm

If you believe the manufacturer, the silver is the best choice.

As far as I know, the original equipment by AM is the Banner Starting Bull 12V 88Ah / 588 20 with 660A.

Thanks Mr.x, thats useful, i feel reassured I'm not the only one struggling to find a correct alternative. I was hoping to find one with more than the 800cca of the YBX3017 I have.

do you need a aml computer to reset the new battery after changing it , you know guys?

Never heard of having to reset the battery, I think that "feature" came in with the latest generation of cars with battery monitoring software. My Audi needs it reseting, but you can do with an OBD app on your phone.
