Here, and for no reason other than it looks so damned good, are a couple of pictures of the Aston Martin V8 Vantage -- which looks fantastic in black -- circuiting the 'Ring, snapped by our star German spyshotter, Sebastian Geisler.

Hmmm....have to say that I hope the rear wheels on the Vantage are either wider on the production car, or that they have a greater degree of offset.

From the pictures, there looks to be a good 4 inches of excess wheelarch protruding out there !!

Havn't yet!!! Basically I am number one on the list at Broughtons in Cheltenham who just got Aston Martin dealership status (I got the inside track on this from their Bentley dealership in Pangbourne where I live last year). I am expected to go to Gaydon in the next couple of weeks but because they have only just got dealership they have not got allocation yet even though they have their DB9 and Vanq allocation. In theory I could spec and take delivery within a couple of months but am not holding my breath.

It's going to be Black or Blue though and most probably black throughout!!! Even if it is gay

I'd say thats because it is hauling around a corner at speed and the suspension is being pushed in by centrifugal force.

Whilst no engineer, if those wheels are being warped to that degree merely by virtue of the car going round that corner, then Aston have some serious issues that need addressing.
