I have been told my car will be available late spring early summer next year. Might only keep the car for a year (if as planned a baby comes along), do you think the AMV8 will still be trading around list price + for year old cars in 2 years time or would you guys expect the depreciation to be starting by that point? Might choose to stick with my porker if I'm going to loose a bundle for 12 months ownership.

IMO , I think it will hold pretty well for the first year. Then drop off as more get turned over.
As a guess I would say , max you would depriciate is around 3k or 4k.

My DB9 has only lost around 5k-8k this year

Agree with Shady. I think that the AM will definately be no worse than the 911 and with a supposed 3 year waiting list should hold up well for the first 12 months.

Yep, I agree too. Seems DB9s are only now dipping to under £100k for the earliest ones.

Black V8's though will drop through the floor, not a good colour to have by all accounts :-0

For purely selfish reasons I really, really hope the bottom drops out of the AMV8 market in about 12 months.

Oh, and a black one (the fastest colour for an Aston) will do me just fine. Want to go back to a '7 Shady?
