Its a 1971 DBS V8. Picture here:

The engine was rebuilt 500 miles ago, and the chassis is almost free of rust. Picked it up today, and drove it back to its new home. I am very pleased, buit its annoying to "run in" the engine...

Very nice indeed...I think the DBS will appreciate in the next few years as they are under-valued.
I am in my 6th month of Aston ownership, and don't regret a minute (yet!)

I wondered if your DBS originally came with wire wheels...or are the V8 style original?

Very nice, reminds me a bit of a Shelby GT500.

They're the right wheels. The 6cyl had wire wheels but AM decided they weren't rated for the torque of the V8

Lovely looking machine! Is it still on the original injection?

Yes, still on the original mechanical fuel injection. Newly rebuilt engine, with new block, liners, pistons, rebuilt heads etc. Paintwork is appalingly bad, but that is the only thing amiss.

Nice!

Can't quite see in the picture - is that a Vantage-style air dam under the bumper? Looks a bit deeper than standard.

Proper car - nice one! Hairy chest as standard

Nice as the DB9 and AMV8 undoubtedly are, they're missing something that these (and the Vanquish) have...

Very very nice. I've always preferred the quad headlight front end of the DBS to the later V8s.
