The engine was rebuilt 500 miles ago, and the chassis is almost free of rust. Picked it up today, and drove it back to its new home. I am very pleased, buit its annoying to "run in" the engine...
Very nice indeed...I think the DBS will appreciate in the next few years as they are under-valued. I am in my 6th month of Aston ownership, and don't regret a minute (yet!)
I wondered if your DBS originally came with wire wheels...or are the V8 style original?
Yes, still on the original mechanical fuel injection. Newly rebuilt engine, with new block, liners, pistons, rebuilt heads etc. Paintwork is appalingly bad, but that is the only thing amiss.
