A new one has opened in Derby, I drive past each day, must call in and have a proper look, if they let the riff raff in for a look.

This is not as good news as it might seem. The more popular they become, the more they are like Ferrari. And that's really not good.
I do however pass Sevenoaks Aston Martin and dream....reguarly

Yup, porsche built a new one next door to their existing premises (the one where a bunch of em got nicked one night and were seen hurtling down the M11 in convoy)
For a while the old showroom had some various second hand exotica such as Bentley coupes, Ferraris, Astons etc and for a while was infinitely more interesting than the Porsche showroom which seemed packed with one model in a variety of colours (I'm sure they were all different but I couldn't tell)

You'll have to get BG fixed first! Should get you in.

Odd that the Aston logo went up months ago with Paramount (I think) alongside, then was removed and finally replaced, Stratstone alongside and open within a coupld of weeks it seemed.

Are they both in the same group these days?

I keep thinking a visit would be fun but not sure what sort of style is required to get through the door. Does one have to call ahead and make an appointment or is entry by invitation only?

Edit to add that all of the names are part of Pendragon which possibly explains the confusion.

Wonder what you get as a company car if you work for them ...?

I just called in this lunchtime, and what a total waste of time they were too!

There were 4 guys loafing around and a receptionist with nothing to do, eventualy someone ambled overm & begrudgingly opened a car for us to sit in.
No offer of litreature, no offer of a test drive, lots of going on about how long the waiting list is and how they don't even know what they're getting next year.
Didn't have a business card for us to take, and we had to ask for them to call us, they never offered.
Dreadfull service.

Drive on by!

And yes, they've re-branded the Paramount to Stratstone to differentiate it from Paramount Jaguar.
