Came upon a silver V12 Vanquish (with number plate starting V12 too, nice) as I was pulling onto the A40 last night at Denham, heading towards London.

Most enjoyable acceleration match coming up the slip road, but disappointing to find out that my Camaro is more than a match for Britains finest.

But the Aston is very lovely nevertheless.

Hope to see you again...next time I'll switch the Nitrous on. :p

If it sounded louder than a std Vanq it was my mates (did it end in GML ??)

No I'd never thought of that, so thanks for pointing it out mate....
I thought I'd come onto this fine forum and boast ridiculously having made it all up of course.

I can't really remember the sound, but it could've been GML. Was silver and lovely anyway! He locked the tyres braking into a roundabout, which gave me the suspicion that the Aston was up for a play, just before we both accelerated safely onto the A40.

It's just nice to see one being used properly, so many just poodle around and never see their potential.

No offence meant chap. It's just that without a smiley or two (hence the in my reply) it's sometimes difficult to see if you've written something tongue in cheek or not.

No problem!
I was testing the water to see just how popular Pistonheads is these days, that you can ask about a specific car and see who out there knows it. And pretty much someone did.
Thats pretty cool
