A particularly upbeat enthusiasm for this supreme British marque to which I similarly dribble.
I recently said that I thought the latest Zagato creation was pretty darn fantabulistic; one of you guys pointed out that the DB4 Zagato made it look somewhat naff and I must say I agree.
But the latest model is still a bulldog in a world of styling ubiquity and snarls like little else, if all's to be expected.
I recently saw a gaggle of Astons in St Malo; DB7s were everywhere, which was pleasant to be sure but a line of V8 Vantage, three DB5 or 6s and a Vanquish fair stopped the yakking dead...
Rowan Atkinson is a man of good taste...

Wibble....
Aston Martin is my favourite marque. Good to see the piccies of the DB7 GT in Autocar this week. I'll have mine in silver please
I also can't wait for the new "small" Aston and the next generation DB7 (DB8?). If the artists impressions in Autocar are anything to go by, they're going to be stunners.

Did I see a Vanquish last Sunday? On the A46 north of M4 jct.18. Looked like it but the girlfriend drooling over the Peugoet 206cc in front of it kind of got in the way. Looked like it had a small number plate - 1 DO or something like that. Didn't realise they were actually out on the street. Whatever, it looked superb. Girlfriend preferred the 206.

Impeccable taste... but somewhat limited in driving skills (from personal observation some 15 years ago) though I assume he will be much better now!
BTW I think he is a brilliant comic actor.
I disagree. I have seen him race several times and think he's a very smooth, steady driver. Not the quickest driver on the track, but he REALLY appreciates the history and value of what he's driving. I would be happy for him to race a car I own.
