Raymond

As a waiter myself (hopeful to get mine end of 2005/early 2006) I can only say "you lucky lucky bugger" and "thanks for the report".

This has really got me excited.

What did your note say?

Tips must be good then, all I can say is how envious I am of you both, a fantastic car and one day........

Great write upp RRG.

Ath the factory they mentioned the quiet valves between 1000 and 3500 revs... which match your comment on the loudness afterwards.

They did say though that the valves could be erm left open to be loud all the time, requirng a word with the dealer :-)

In answer to LA, interior was finished (general build quality was poor as prototype) and seemed essentially identical to DB9, but obviously manual so no auto selector buttons on console.

To all on this forum, if you live anywhere near London, I recommend a trip to the Canary Wharf Expo as you will get to pour all over a properly finished example. It looks superb.

ps: good to hear from you Stuart! You must be one of Aston's best customers by now... When you getting your car?

Looks like late October.
(but the '9' was two months late, so I'm crossing my fingers)

Shady

My dealer was at Gaydon on Tuesday and had been told deliveries likely to start December now! Have you heard anything?

don't want to cause alarm, but I also heard from the AM factory personnel on the Expo-stand in Canary Wharf that customer deliveries are now "a bit later than expected... towards the end of the year". As for me, apparently I'm now looking at 2007!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (this has got to be nonsense)

I haven't been told anything further about dates.....but I think I'll ask the question now!

Anyone been given a reason for the hold up?
