Spotted AM V8

Today at around midday at the m20 / A2 junction in Kent, a bright mid blue Lhd Am V8, reg Vx 05 J*M
I couldn't believe my eyes, it even had a vantage badge on the back.
As it pulled away from the lights it sounded magnificent...i didn't know these were out yet?

They aren't!! Must be a pre-production or an Aston tester fresh off the production line. First customer deliveries not expected till Sept and first press cars August some time.

Did it look the business?

Looked incredible,,sounded better, even having seen the pre production car 2 years ago this was eye catching and looked every part of 80 grand.
The colour was slightly darker than Audi Nogaro (RS) blue.

It was driven by a guy of about 40 with his wife/gf in the passenger seat....as in not testers in white jackets with clipboards etc.

Stupidly I was in a rush and took my direction as the lights changed, on reflection I should have at least followed it for a while.Doh!

I saw one, VX05 and blue, in Banbury on Friday evening. Also looked and sounded fantastic as it accelerated off a roundabout. I would have followed it but my dash said I had 0 miles of fuel left.

Saw a burgundy one going north on the M5 on Thurday eve, vantage badge and all. Didnt seem to make much noise though towing a trailer in an old rangie isnt that quiet.

i saw one a few weeks ago coming out of Mway services on the M18, looked so good i nearly crashed into the kerb

VX05 MXO is a press car, she is a honey. So expect to see some articles in the next months rags, Evo, Car, Top Gear etc etc..
