The interior looks stunning in black leather with piano black on the door trim.....with just a few alloy bits of trim on the dash.

Their car also sports the optional multi-spoke wheels. Probably a bu66er to keep clean. I'd prefer a nice simple set of 5 or 6 spoke jobbies.

I'd still go for the coupe as not only do I prefer a metal roof up top, I think the side window profile is sublime, and the Volante loses a tiny bit of its kerbside appeal.

BTW, Autocar claimed, last week, they were driving TWO new Astons this week. I had hoped that meant the V8 Vantage as well, but it appears not. Doesn't appear to be lined up for next week either :(

The factory told me last week that the journalists would still not be getting to drive the V8 Vantage until August.

I spoke to an AM press person a few weeks back and he told me August for press cars too!

Hmmm, wonder what other car they meant then. Unless is was a production mess-up, as last week the tested the Vanquish S. May be that was meant for this weeks issue.
