Was it David's tool kit that was nicked?Astonmania said:
Time has nothing to do with it. The posting is still active so the PDF link should be accessible. If this isn’t the case then delete the listing.
You're new here. Working out how the forum works is always a good first step. Now, exactly which "posting" is still active and which "listing" needs deleting, in your opinion?
What’s “You’re new here” have to do with anything. Just kidding. My DB6 Volante came with tools from Taiwan. Want to put together a tool roll with tools as correct as humanly possible for my DB6 so that I would have the most correct reproduction tool roll with tools in the universe. I would use the listed tools from the stolen toolkit as a basis, provided the tools are indeed correct.
A quick search reveals several for sale, this one lists the tools:
https://www.astonparts.com/toolkit-db4-5-6-d162608...
Other suppliers, and prices, are available.
(I wouldn't get too testy about a 6-year old link not working)

I appreciate your response and information provided. Most Aston parts guys that sell the reproduction tools for DB4/5/6 aren’t anywhere close to what the original tools are. I’ve checked out most of them. Even checked out some Bonham’s auctions that have sold and claimed that most of the tools offered in the particular lot are authentic and therefore correct. This could not be farther from the truth. They say the fun is in the chase but for me the fun has long been anything but.

This. Once a week without fail I check all my posts back to when I joined PH and make sure the links are working. Anything less is simply irresponsible!Astonmania said:

I am confused, you want the PDF as a the basis of a list you want to make of the contents of a genuine DB6 tool kit.Yet in your next post you are dismissing reproduction kits and ones from auction as unoriginal and saying the contents liked as correct could not be further from the truth?!?
It's all very contradictory, you can only genuinely say kits are incorrect if you knew what was in them, and if you knew what was in them then you don't need the list you seek...
