New Lagonda in AutoExpress
Discussion
It looks like a Photoshop special, but yesterday's AutoExpress ran a couple of pictures of the long rumoured 4-door Lagonda. I'd have to say, if the real thing looks as good we're in for a treat.
They claim it'll be based on the new V8 (although I guess the V/H chassis is flexible enough for either V8/V12 and various wheelbases).
Up front, we get another version of the Aston "face" but with a deeper grille. The rear doors look quite small but the overall coupe shape lends itself beautifully to a four-door application. The rear-end, from what you can see, is standard V8.
It's low and slinky (think Merc CLS) and I like it
No indication of when it's coming though

Oh, interestinbg. Anyone remember the Vignale from the early 90s? Would have made a great car, and would bo Fords version of a super-luxury Maybach/Rolls Royce.
What an opportunity missed...
