As title I guess - picking up my new (to me) Mako blue Vantage V12 S tomorrrow and can't wait...despite the crap weather!

Trading my DB9 (and 911) so hope it's as good as I'm hoping! Test drive was awesome so sure it'll be fine!

Understated for a V12VS and yet wonderful!

Is it a manual or SportShift?

Congratulations! It's a beauty. Personally, I think I might get the wheels done in graphite but that is purely an individual thing. Enjoy smile

Nah... perfect as it is!

(Obviously any difference in taste on such important matters could lead to a dual at dawn, etc. shoot)

Cheers for the positive comments

Sportshift lll - I quite liked it on what was too short a test drive (aren't they all)

Hoping to bring it along on the NE run out - I'll be at the NE1 car show with it this coming Sunday though

I was thing gloss black wheels to match the panels? Think I'll 'live with it' for now...

Congratulations from a fellow Mako blue V12 Vantage S owner, mine's a Roadster.
Good to see another Mako blue one, they seem quite rare. It really changes colour like a shark's skin depending on the light.
What colour interior have you got?

Beautiful and yes go for the powder coating on your alloys. It will suit the car,

SSIII . is superb.

Just remember its a manual box with no stick.

Forget D (for now)

Always hit sport and drop the drivers window 2 inches and you will have it in no time.

You will need to order your exhaust valve blipper off ebay too smile

It will be fantastic if you can. Don't think we have a V12V.
If you can make it please you put your name down as Paul needs the numbers for lunch.
Enjoy.

I have the optional satin black lightweight wheels on mine.
It would look good on yours too since you have the black window surround and carbon pack.
See here what it looks like on Mako blue:

Congratulations on your acquisition thumbup Think Mako is a fantastic colour.

I was looking at your picture and couldn't work out what didn't look right. With the black work around the windows I think black wheels would make it perfect. CSK's picture confirm that for me.

Fab' you lucky chap and the same colour as the V12 guru's own car smile
I'd also consider graphite for the wheels as another option if you do want to change them for a darker hue..... like......

Graphite and black look even better with a diamond turned finish IMO... appreciating it is all down to taste wink

Yes still convincing myself this is all real! Had some nice cars over the years but nothing quite like this. I only had my DB9 in for a service and stumbled upon this car and simply had to have it! Sad giving up my DB9 and 911 though...

Interesting re the colour - I love it and one of the main reasons ive bought the car but I wasn't sure what others would think? Seems Mako is well liked!

I'll give the wheels some thought - thanks for the suggestions

I'll order my exhaust remote tomorrow too as I like that idea! Who wouldn't
