Why oh Why that colour

I cannot think of a worse colour for an Aston

What are they going to paint their next concept car-pink with green spots?

I don't think the colour matters a jot...

having said that, one of the crash cars was Kawasaki green, and one was KTM Orange. Now *they* looked fantastic.

Hi all,

Agree Agree, at last a proper sport's car colour, if it's going to go head to head with 911's it need's to be bright as well as quick. well that's what I think might even consider buying one

I must be

It doesn't do anything for me... sure the interior is nice but its just lifted from the DB9. The exterior, especially in yellow, looks a bit fat around the front.

Think i need to see one in real life, Rico not liking an Aston isn't right...

Gaydon: ....yellow.

hmmmm...

..oh yes...

IMHO of course... but does it really need a 'LOOK AT ME' colour?

I'm willing to bet that the reason for the odd colours that we have seen recently is that they have been stung by the comments that all Aston models look the same, which is partly due to the usual gunmetal colour they always seem to be.

I reckon it's an effort to avoid those comments.

And what exactly is wrong with this? The DB9 interior is fantastic!

From these posts you'd think Aston Martin had never painted a car yellow before.

The DB7 used to be available in yellow.

Bright colours, subtle colours - don't matter cos thing thing'll look stunning in either.

That day, in the office of Dr Ulrich Bez.
Ford Marketing Guy : Herr Bez, we you can't show that car in Geneva.
UB : why not?
FMG : 'coz we won't sell any more DB9's and XK's
UB : Scheisse. I forgot all about those two.
FMG : maybe we can disguise it as a banana? at least our US sales will be safe, only the Europeans will notice it's a gorgeous sports care in stead of a tropical fruit.
UB : Gutes Idee, just make sure you don't show the engine.
FMG : To add to the confusion, we'll auction off a V8 DB7 and show a droptop DB9.

Sorry, too much time on my hands today.

^um, triumph, tvr, lotus don't look so ridiculous in yellow as an aston. buying a yellow aston, to exaggerate the point, is like buying a yellow bmw 7 series. You just kind of expect more class of someone who could have a car of that maturity. if that same person had a yellow f355, that'd be understandable.
