DB9's 10k miles service
Discussion
Just taken the Aston for it's 10,000 mile service and no reported problems at all.
Since taking delivery back in July, I've driven 1800 miles upto Scotland and across the Highlands. Stopping a for a few beverages with Steve (GetCarter)
Driven across Europe to the Swiss and Italain Alps on Eurohoon 04. Topped the car out in France and driven numerous times down Bruntingthorpe at 170+.
After getting my baby back from my dealer last night, I can honestly say it feels tighter and quicker than it has ever done before.
The main technician (that's what we call them) at my dealer said without a doubt my DB9 was the quickest one he's driven. Obviously because the car has been driven like it should be and not just around town.
Before I drove it last night he told me they had made quite a few engine management enhancements and I should notice "a significant difference"
, Not quite sure what they did, but it feels awesome.
Bring on VMAX VII
One very happy Aston owner.

Not to mention several hundred miles accross some of Essex & Sussex' finest B roads, being the subject of surely thousands of camera clicks and zipping up the M45 and a serious amount of leptons and therefore treating one PHer to "the fastest he's ever been in a car" Good on ya! Hopefully you'll be able to make one more Essex hoon before moving onto the V8

Well that was fun... "So Steve what the quickest you've ever been?"
eeeeeerrrrrr..... about two minutes ago
It seems like you've got a gem there shady.
I was in a "beat-the-waiting-list" independant supercar specialist on the weekend, and they said that they have sold 5 DB9's over the past couple of months and every single one of them has had to be back in an Aston garage to fix some problem or other. Is that just a jinxed dealer, or have other DB9 owners been experiencing problems?

Just shows that you should spank ca car big time, to ensure its soundness. That's my story and Im sticking to it!!!
Kryten22UK....that wasn't Tom Hartley was it?
I'm a sad git and often visit their website. They certainly seem to shift the DB9s sharpish, even at £130k!!!!
Yep, seems many have had to go back for software upgrades and the like. Hopefully, as the V8 should use the same systems this won't affect it as the bugs should be well sorted by now
