Hello all,

I would like a DB7, but I have the unfortunate situation of not having thousands in the bank, nor the space to keep one.

I have a 1995 TVR Chimaera below:-

I was wondering if someone might want to exchange their DB7 and me hand them this car, and perhaps £15,000 cash.

Would that swing me a deal?

I think you are perhaps still another £10,000 short of the earliest DB7's. No offence intended, but have you looked at Chim prices lately?

...And I wouldn't fancy owning a DB7 *without* thousands in the bank "just in case"

I would think VERY carefully before going down this route......

The servicing, running and repair costs if anything went wrong would be VERY expensive , so make sure you have money in reserve for emergencies..........

Indeed. I have had 3 DB6, two vantages.

But I would imagine that the DB7's are a different animal.

There is money in reserve for repairs as I run a few old classics, none as expensive as the 60's Vantages.
