To be honest, as much as I'd love there to be an "R" or "GT" or "Vantage" version, this would seriously tread on the toes of the (much more expensive) DB9 and Vanquish.

Guess it depends on how well the standard version sells (and I'd imagine they'll be snapped up like hot-cakes)

True about the Vantage version treading on the toes of the DB9/ Vanquish, but isnt that the case with all peformance manufacturers these days? It seems that the gap between the lowest performance version and the highest is getting smaller.

Let's just speculate for a moment that they put a V12 into the test mule. Would that account for the different exhaust note? Is it possible, definately, the original AM V8 Vantage showcar launched at Detroit didn't have a V8 under the bonnet, but a V12. Could be interesting if they ever wanted to offer an AM V12 Vantage!

Not sure what colour it was, but I agree. I didn't much like it at high revs either, sounded like dragster drone rather than the nice woofle the red one produced.

Agreed the noise isnt the greatest, lets hope they put a good few hours into developing the sound, but it looks fantastic flying around. Metalic Graphite with two tone black and grey leather should look fantastic...............in my garage!

I love the way they have managed to keep the Vanquish V12 exhaust burble

That hollow kind of sound.....hopefully people will know what I mean :$
