I kid you not. I was watching this evenings episode (On the Run) on Granada Plus and there was a scene with a bad guy tinkering in the engine bay. You didn't get a full look (the camera angle was high) but I saw enough of the side view and rear quarter glass to know it wasn't anything but a Zagato!

It had a Hart Racing sticker/sunshade along with the old style (A and M interlinked) sticker on the windscreen.

Made a change from spotting old Fords

Just did a quick "Google"....seems Hart Racing Services are still going. I knew I knew the name....they're the chaps that specialise in Stags. However, back in the 70's they also race prepared historic cars such as Ferrari, Jaguar and....Aston Martin!

I know this is very sad, but I e-mailed Hart Racing last night. I've just picked up a reply from Tony Hart explaining that this was filmed at his old premises in Hammersmith in the early '70s. It wasn't any old Zagato either (not that such a thing exists!) but "2 VEV".

So a big thank you to Mr Hart
