When I put the roof down on the DB9 5 mins ago I noticed that it looks like it's not closing properly:

There's about an 8-10mm panel gap. Can push it down but it just pops back up to the same level. Is this normal for DB9 volantes?

George

Could this be a hangover from your flat battery?
Does the roof need a learn cycle like the seats/windows/mirrors?

Probably sticky latches (or more correctly not sticking wink )
IIRC one was like that when we didn't get bacon sandwiches wink
Leave the roof down, let it open the cover then give the latches a clean and a bit of lithium grease after. (cover the roof whilst you do it)
If you take more than a couple of minutes the hydraulivd will depressurise and the cover will "relax" back down.
I tend to leave the ignition on and just move it slightly every couple of minutes to spot it "relaxing"
Cycle it a couple of times that should do it.

Yes I think one was like that when there was a bacon famine biggrin

I'll try giving them a clean and see if it improves smile

I followed your instructions and gave it a clean Mikey, but it's still doing it. Not affecting the car in any way and it's still secured down, I'll probably just leave it as is for the time being.
