Nice pics smile

I also popped by to Grange today. The Zagato sure ain't pretty but boy does it have some presence. I wasn't expecting to see it, and inadvertently let out an auidble "wow" when I stepped into the showroom and clapped eyes on it. I'd have one in a heartbeat (in the Dream garage, of course).

I accidentally bought a car when I was there too biggrin

Great pictures but I just think it confirms what fantastic value a V12V is both new and second hand.

Sounds like it could be the 4.7 Manual Titanium roadster that I was due to test drive this week!Saw it Saturday, popped in with wife yesterday afternoon to show her and it had sold yesterday morning to a chap with a 4.3Vantage!
If so congrats, it's a lovely car.

Twas indeed, so thank you smile

I didn't want to start a separate thread until I had pics (those be the rules etc), and the dealer pics don't really do it justice.

I'm also having a few things done to it this week before picking it up on Saturday, so will share some pics when it's all ready.

If it's any consolation, the day I first saw this car (about 5 weeks ago) I was actually there to look at a different 4.7 Roadster in Meteorite. When I arrived, a couple were in one of the offices putting down a deposit on it there and then, so missed out on that one.

I love the Titanium though (especially in the sun yesterday), so think it all worked out smile

My name is with most of the dealerships for a 4.7 Roadster, so PM me if you'd like me to forward you any info I get.

Strange how it pans out. I popped in after contributing to the V8 Vantage "Spotted" thread in General Gassing, having put my point that I wasn't a fan of the 4.3, but the 4.7 I thoght was a much better car. There were so many owners on there stating about the "pleasure" of ownership I felt I owed it to myself to have another look, and see if I " got" them. Saw "your" car in the showroom,(it still hurts to say that!)and the more I looked at it/ sat in it the colour scheme, wheels(I believe your taking them off?)and feelgood factor gradually won me over. The only reason I didn't drive it Saturday was because they seemed so busy.
As I said earlier, congrats it really is a stunning car, you should be proud

Could be Magma red, maybe?

Saw a V12V at Goodwood in this colour. Lovely.

Looks like the boys at Mansory restyled a V12V, not AM. What an ugly looking car.

I would have thought it would be a colour unique to the Zagato rather than an existing colour, although Magma is a stunning colour.

Really? Wow. They have a later model in Tungsten, with Sport Pack wheels, for sale. Sure it wasn't that one.

If it was mine, I hope they have / are going to put a new clutch on it.

My clutch went on the way to Grange, literally about 3 mins from the dealer. The cost of replacing it was factored into the p/x price on my car, so I'd be p'd off if they have offloaded it without changing it.

You're probably right George.

But 4 times the price didn't stop them from keeping the interior / mechanicals the same, so why bother with a new colour? smile

I love magma. We nearly, so nearly bought a Torro Red V8V but ended up shopping off piste for a unique colour shared with Ferrari (so not unique).

Even if the Zag were a "unique" colour, you can order an aston in any colour you like providing you're prepared to pay for it. Although it may be unique at first it may not be for long.

Just cos it hasn't appeared on an Aston does not make it unique. I actually really like the Citroen metallic blue. That would be unique to an Aston... maybe.
I suppose they might just be able to come up with another special shade of silver with an incandescent pinker than the last pink hue. Unique?... no.

I would imagine so, it doesn't take >that< long to do! Either that or sold it with the promise of a new clutch.
