Battery died...

My battery died, as some forum members will know, but everything is up and running now. I have two warning lights on though - emission service due and the amber engine light - is it the case that these just need resetting ie am I ok to drive the car now until its service is next due? Any ideas?!

I'm going to say yes, as I had the same lights when the AA jump started me. They were reset and were never seen again
