My power fold exterior mirrors no longer fold automatically when I lock my 07 V8V with the key fob. My battery did run down to safe mode a few months ago. I have since charged the battery and everything else works fine.

Is there a way to reset the power fold mirrors or is this a dealer fix?

I think it's a dealer fix..... But don't be fobbed off into paying loads for it....

My car was at a well known NW dealer for some warranty work, I asked if my car had the power fold feature, and if so whilst it was there coud they activate it??

I was told it didn't have it......

A few months later whilst being serviced elwhere, I was asked by the mechanic..... would you like your mirrors to have the power fold activated??
I'd love it I said, but my car hasn't got them fitted....

Yes it has came the reply.... I'll do it now, it takes all of 30 seconds......

And with that he pressed a button on his consol thingy, and I had folding mirrors....

I don't like being lied tofrownfrown

Wonder how much it is to add as an optional extra! I don't have them but would quite like them.

It is a dealer fix as only a software download can do it on this MY, it takes seconds so I would hope that there would be no charge.

models need a software revision update before it works IIRC

Rick changed mine to have it work automartically, then I had it changed back to being manually controlled.

Probably fold them back one in 20 drives, rarely see the need unless in a tight street or overnight somewhere unfamiliar!
