I was in there yesterday, Keith is on long term sick so I believe, Alan has gone , no idea why, young guy on reception never seen him before and Matt was out and about. They seem really pushed out and busy, now that could be a good thing,i.e. buisness is good or could be bad in that they're all conking out.

Was just there for a 6 year service which seemed £200-300 higher than I had expected. Will definitely shop around next year. They do seem busy, but still (apart from the cost) the overall experience was good.

Hi, first time post so here goes. Been following for a while, noted the op's comments, yes there is some changes staff wise.
Congratulations on your joining the AM club, gene genie, big step up from the model one 77 you started with last year! am I correct that your a ex member of their staff that may have left under rather dark clouds, hence the derogator comments?

Interesting choice of name wink especially as a first post challenging the OP.

I've been a regular customer of the service team and have had personal experience of one "muppet" in parts who threatened to charge me for a new grill on a 2 day old car that clearly had a faulty one.
Keith and Alan were always very helpful they were there in September and intervened with the "muppet"
They were gone in January when I started having electrical gremlins.
The "new" guys have been professional, but not very proactive in my experience, leaving me to sort out recovering a car to them that clearly wasn't going to start.
Lets see how we get on with the next couple of warranty niggles and the annual service quote. wink

The sales team? - I don't have the time or energy to waste on explaining that one frown

Was actually the 'fellow owner' comment. Owner of what? As you don't own a aston ( only the said 1/24 scale one 77 )
What's your sudden change of stance on the Macclesfield indie, as you were ever so cutting of them some time ago, and am quite sure am not speaking out of turn on that.
And for your information my name is not Lee.

Yup Gene...you have a collectable one there at 4.2.

FWIW Wilmslow is my local dealer, yet my DB9 is currently sitting in JCT having its 3rd service because Wilmslow wouldn't accept that I was being quoted such a competitive price by them.

Whilst it's there they are also gaining revenue from fitting 2 new rear brake pads (at 3.4mm).

They are also gaining revenue from fitting 2 new rear tyres (at 3mm).

The free 140 point check has also shown a paint defect just below my passenger door handle - it is being fixed foc by the paint shop under the original warranty.

Keith and Alan were excellent and took care of all my warranty work at Wilmslow. Don't even get me started on their inept sales team. Shame they were uncompetitive with their service quotations smile

Spending a lot of cash on a car you were considering upgrading at one point, does this mean you're sticking with it for now? smile

Take your point Georgeous. I am reliably informed by Mr K though that - although still legal - these can be dangerous levels to be running the car at, especially in the wet, and the price I'm being quoted is confirmed as competitive smile

Can you please share your feedback when your Aston's returned?

I had my first service completed by Wilmslow who were faultless. They weren't the cheapest (Hagley my local dealer) but I've only ever received great service from Wilmslow who were the original dealer.

So far so good Martin. I am being regularly updated by JCT via hourly-ish emails. It was collected on time (80 miles away) and there have been no surprises. The only hold up was photos and approval from AM to do the paintwork under original warranty.

I fully expect it to be returned washed smile

Well, my DB9 is booked in for its 7 year service at Stratstone Wilmslow for monday, I'm gonna get there early and discuss a couple of possible warranty issues to square away aswell. All i can say is that I've found them to be very accomodating so far and I'm feeling quietly confident of a positive outcome.
