Supplying Oil for service
Discussion
I'm booked in for a service this week at Broughtons and I'm planning on supplying my own oil, assuming I can get it cheaper than the £140 difference...
I know they use Castrol RS (although I understand it's not call that any more). I'm sure I've read people saying they got oil at a good price from Costco (I'm already a member), perhaps Mobil?
The car is covered by the extended warranty if that makes any difference to what I have to use.
Any suggestions? It's being picked up on Wednesday, so I need to be quick if I want to do this.
thanks

The Costco reference is for Mobil One. This oil is not suitable for the V8V.
Used to be .Castrol Edge 10-60 Sport. But that was discontinued, not sure what it's replacement is.
Try http://www.nielsencdg.co.uk/ fo starters.
I saved a small fortune with them by buying two services worth.
