2007 Model Seat Upgrade

Any particular reason why seat design was changed on models 2007+ ?

Rumour has it that the main reason was to accommodate wider derrières from across the Atlantic......how true this is, I have no idea

I sat in a 2006 model (old seats) and was sliding around in the corners.......

well I'm a 32" waist and find the pre 2007 seats quite comfy with no slide, I think declining the back of the seat base lower than the front helps with this. I found it took quite a while to get the seat in a good position and although I much prefer the look of the later seats am quite happy with them

I prefer the look of the pre-2007 seats, but find the cushion quite hard. Initially it was hard to get comfortable, but now they are fine.
