Did try a quick search but couldnt find a topic!

I have a high pitch squeek coming from one of my wheels under low speed. Abit embarassing when people stare already at the car and i squeek off in traffic!

Any ideas?

If it is coming from the rear it could be the pads in the caliper not fully releasing and remaining in slight contact with the disc.

It's the handbrake pads rubbing. Very common. Tech tells me it's caused by the cable being adjusted too tightly so that the pads continue to rub even when released.

Looked at this with interest
However mine is from the interior wheel (steering)
Kind of a whine when turning

I recently noticed this on mine as well. Does it almost sound like fabric rubbing against itself? I haven't looked into it too deeply yet. Perhaps you should start a new topic since you are talking about an entirely different issue. I would like to see any feedback on your problem and it will probably get buried in this thread.

If only just happened it could be a bit of grit caught between the wheel and disc. Don't know enough to recommend this - so at your own risk, but a bit of heavy braking may well clear it.

I experienced this annoying squeal too. The root cause was too much 'City driving' i.e. frequent gentle braking. As well as infrequent use (I fire mine up once a week), this results in a glaze building on the brakes. There are various threads on here on how to clear it, if you are feeling brave, if you have a warranty your dealer would clear this up free of charge.

Had this on a few cars with grit/stone caught in the callipers/discs. Reversing the car for a few yards cleared it for us.

I am experiencing the squeek from the real wheel for three years now. AM tried to fix it many timers, finally I got rear brakes completely new(including discs, calipers and pads) but the squeek always returned after 150 km.
