OK, it's a very silly question, but I am looking for a way to keep the sun out of my eyes in the my roadster and I would rather self flagellate than wear a baseball cap or visor.

A top hat appeals for the comedy value, but which would most suit the ethos of the car?

All suggestions, ridiculous or otherwise, will be gladly received, even if only for entertainment value! smile

Got to be a leather or wax cotton flat cap... Like the one Brian Johnson from AC/DCsmile

The fact that he's a true petrol head lends kudos to this suggestionhehe

I wear one of these, the Baker Boy. Mrs Yeti hates it which makes it all the more appealing strangely wink Has to be very cold though, or on the way to Goodwood!

Some good suggestions! Thanks!

Sunglasses are fine, but when the sun is high it dazzles me over the top of the glasses unless I push them right into my face.

Hmm, that gives me an idea. Perhaps use 2 tinted monacles... biggrin

Bob the only cap for a Roadster is baseball cap, a la Mikey K.

He wore a hat from Age Concern on our last razz (t1blk will confirm) and it clashed with his shellsuit.

Innit, indeed.

Also, le Yeti is playing into the hands of the pipe and slippers brigade smile

Bob sounds like you need to change your sunglasses to the wrap-round style.
Maui Jims are the pick IMO if you want real performance from your sunglasses.

Whilest that would no doubt do my street cred wonders, I'm afraid it won't do much regarding my glare problem. In fact, I'll probably attract even more.

As the smurf says I have a collection of hats for different temperatures and occasions.
I have a new one for the April meet wink
As Grant suggests I also have a pair of wrap around glass
The other thing a roadster owner needs is a pair pilot gloves for the really cold days smile

The helmet has definite appeal. There's no doubting that it will sow a seed of doubt in the mind of the driver of the M3 that pulls up next to you. smile
