v8v mirror issue

just wondering if anyone can help, i ve returned my vantage to aston as the electic passanger mirror has, i thought , become faulty, the 'travel' of the mirror appears to have shortened, so when i adjust the mirror to see my nearside rear wheel and the kurb to avoid marking my wheels, the mirror wont go far enough and recirculates , they tell me they have compared the travel to another 08 plate vantage they have in and its identical, all i know is it doesnt travel as far as it used to, am i being fobbed off or is my mirror working perfectly !, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Identical problem with my DB9. Returned the car to main dealer . Diagnosed defective N/S mirror motor which is being replaced under warranty this coming Thursday.

Think your dealership is being less than honest with you !

The Motor is on its way out, seen this a few times.
