Just had the warning light come on.
I have had Fuse 22 out for the last 400 miles and was wondering if this is anything to do with it.
Have replaced it, and to be honest the car does actually drive smoother in my opinion.
It will be due a service in the next month or so.
Should I worry about it or can I reset it myself? Am I ok to wait till I take it back to Aston for its next service?
Thanks in advance for the usual excellent advice I always get.

Think that happened to me last year Tarks, nothing to do with F22, think there may be something psychological going on.

Obviously worth getting it checked at the service smile

My emissions warning light came on and then extinguished next day. AM dealer told me 'they all do that Sir', and speculated that it was something to do with me pressing the gear change buttons on the dash with only one finger, not two on either side of the crystal insert???!! jester

I received a similar dire warning regarding one-fingered gear selections from the dealer local to me (thinking about it, probably the same one). Being a gullible sort of chap, I naturally believed every word of it! smile

Without reading the codes you cant say what it is but It will probably be down to miss pressing of the PRND buttons.
Its nothing to do with 1 or 2 fingers but not pressing firmly enough.

Your dealer will need to clear the codes, and an engine software update will stop it from re-occouring.

The Emissions System service warning , is a generic warning message for alot of things.

As said this is most likely a button issue , as we have replaced the N button on your car already, When one goes the others tend to follow.

bring it in and we will carry out a roll test to see which one is faulty and order one up.

An obd2 reader should be an obligatory part of Gaydon AM owner's toolkit! This will help avoid spikes in blood pressure and panic attacks. Or cause them, depending on the code!

What more can I say when the God of Aston Martin reads forums to check all is well with my car.
This answers why I buy off a dealer and why I go to Stratstone Aston Martin in Amersham.
Makes all the difference when it comes to enjoyment of a car.....hassle free motoring and no worries.

Alan Philpott...you are God and I will email you to sort out a service at the same time.

Thanks all my problem is now solved :0)
