Driving along and I change the DSC to track mode. The digital display then displays an annoying message and no speed. Purely by chance I press the 'read' button and my speed re-appears.
I must read the manual sometime, I bet there are other useful tips. .

...Like the stupid ice warning message when it's less than 5 degrees or so. Such a pointless thing, really winds me up.
+1 - but all the manufacturers do that now, with varying benchmarks. My BMW tells me at 3 degrees, whilst my Aston tells me at 4 degrees??

Might have been a faulty TPMS (if applicable) Nick.
Mine came up the other day so I attached the compressor and - lo and behold - every single one needed air
It was indeed a faulty TPMS. No matter how many times the dealer tried to put it right it just refused to play ballMine came up the other day so I attached the compressor and - lo and behold - every single one needed air

My Polo is at 4 degrees, as per the Aston. My BMW tells me at 3 degrees, whilst my Aston tells me at 4 degrees??
I'm guessing it's some sort of bks health and safety legislation that means they're all fitted with ice warnings now?
