Hello from Cyprus!

Here for business for the next 3-4 months and the V8 insisted on coming so i couldn't say no!

This weekend we travelled from Limassol to the outskirts of Paphos and then up to the mountains for some proper driving !!

I must admit, it was the first time that i've realised the true potential of the Vantage! Simply unbelievable!

Plenty of stares and many questions! That's mostly in the city!

And you get the thumbs up from English tourists!

By the way, i am from Cyprus also, so would be happy to arrange a driving holiday. I'm planning a new route for next month.

hahaha! Cyprus and Greece are two separate countries, although Greece is considered by Cypriots as the 'mother' nation!

Crisis is obvious here at the moment, but not even close on what is happening to Greece, thanks to foreign investors .... so no euro throwing for now!

That's a road a I know very well (highway from Limassol to paphos)! I agree, the mountain roads are glorious.

I stay in Limassol a fair amount on business. There's a DBS and a DB9 in Limassol.

I hear it's just stopped raining (after several weeks) so I hope you enjoy your stay

Hello Gio! Just did a search for "Cyprus" and came across this. I'm a local also suffering from the car bug.

The roads you posted are some of my favorite but trust me there are far better on the island! I haven't been on a proper mountain run for a few months now (not since this opened: http://www.achnaspeedway.com/ in fact) but i'm itching for a nice sunny drive when the weather clears up.

I'm from Paphos so i'm familiar with the roads round here better but there are plenty of excellent roads i know in Limassol and Nicosia. If you're up to it i'd love to meet up some day and go for a nice drive and lunch/coffee at some village. I could arrange for a few friends with nice cars (albeit not as nice as yours truth be told!) to join us too.
