I hope you spent your whole time making machine gun noises and humming the Battle of Britain theme song?

I started doing it when I saw that picture smile

Yeti you'll not surprise us all if you've a leather helmet and goggles with a biggles scarf to match your gloves now biggrin

Halifax here. And enjoy the odd blat out. In fact, was over Holmfirth, Holme Moor, Glossop and back the other week. Managed a rather impressive 12mpg, despite the odd bit of snow lying around.

Well if you were coming to the proper north, rather than the northern midlands, you would be expected to wear a football shirt no matter what the weather - the BBQ season up here ends in December and starts again mid January wink if its really cold you could get away with a flat cap, as long as your whippet doesn't wear a dog coat.

I hope you don't wear the bowler hat and carry an umbrella, which of course is what everybody south of Watford Gap wears wink now, where's that North/south divide thread gone in the Lounge?

Lancashire, just over the border. We don't need Brit/German rivalry. I'm happy just to take out a few Yorkshire yellow bellies!

North Yorkshire owner here too (born in Northallerton). But, big but, I now live in CA. Family still in Guisborough though. Would be fun to meet up with the local Aston club next time I'm back in Blighty.

A few months ago there was a group of Aston owners having lunch at the Crab & Lobster in Asenby, North Yorks as the car park had a collection of around 15 great AMs in - was this a group from this forum? Local meet or just a good day out at a very nice restaurant?
