According to the manual the outside temperature should be displayed on the top right hand side of the "Infortainment centre display". Cabin temperature is top left, but nothing appears top right... anyone shed some light?

I had exactly this problem when I first picked up my 2007 V8 Vantage. I scoured the handbook trying to find how to 'turn on' the display to no avail. It turned out the outside temperature sensor was faulty and it was replaced under warranty. It looked like it was a 5-minute job.

It may need a software update. My DB9 came back from a service and it suddenly appeared !!

I managed to see 52 degrees C last year whilst sat idling. Think the temperature sensor is next to the hottest part of the engine!!

Early DB9's did not have an OAT readout, but it can be activated with a software update.

Yeah they must have located the sensor in the stupidest place possible. Stationary or moving at slow speeds all it picks up is the heat soak from the car.

It's pretty useless IMO.
