DBS 6 cylinder manual/Vantage manual/early V8...

Join the AMOC- most aston owners belong to this club.
There is also a for sale/ wanted section.
For hints and tips, go to the AMOB forum (www.amoc.org) and go from there.
Other sales: most Aston specialists will know of at least one car for sale by a regular, (many owners will let the specialist know they are thinking of selling...)
however you might want to contact the following
www.gmes.co.uk
www.puddleduck.uk.com
The latter breaks cars (oh the scandal!) and offers good value parts. The former has details of the cars history. Looking at both will give a good idea as to how much these cars cost to run: they are not cheap, but very worthwhile!
I wish your freind a lot of luck, but for goodness sake buy slowly and get a full report with a known specialist. An AA/ RAC inspection just wont do at this level.

(not an Aston owner yet, but am on schedule to own an early V8 by the time I am 30)
