Seen a few examples that are almost ideal to a required spec. However, they have had a wooden centre facia rather than my preferred Onyx black.

Is it possible to change this through a dealer? If so, what prices would I be looking at?

Thanks

Aston Martin will do *anything* you want. For a price.

I presume you mean the SatNav centre trim, know as the Ski Slope.
These can be found for about £400 - £500 and are easily swapped out.

And there will always be somebody who wants to buy the wooden finish piece!

It's not onyx black, the fascia colour is piano black - which is high gloss lacquered black paint on the wooden panel; AM start with the walnut for piano black so you already have the correct piece!

Someone like Chiltern Aston or any good, trustworthy bodyshop can do this very easily. Cost... A few hundred. A entirely new panel will be closer to a thousand.

I'm selling a piano black fascia for a six speed manual with satnav and ignition key.

I think you'll find that pretty much *anyone* will do *anything* for a price smile

Well yes but I thought Aston Martin was if not unique then one of the few with a specialist section that will do any customisation on one of their second hand cars. Other manufactures will do it at a dealer and only to a certain extent. I have no experience myself (apart from my FiL having a DB7), just read about it.

Want your second hand DB7 in pink with furry seats, a manual gearbox and the engine out of the DB9? No problem sir.

My dealer replaced the faded mahogany upper fascia in my DB9 last year. They charged £815, which included the new fascia, fitting kit and labour. The job took about an hour. The requirement for a fitting kit (£50) will depend on the age of your car.

Indeed, the institution you refer to is the temple of all things good that is Aston Martin Works Service http://www.astonmartin.com/works-service

This panel is 3 clips, pop on, pop off though. I've changed mine already and am about to have it done again, just for sh*ts and giggles wink
