Sounds ridiculous but what's the knack?
Only picked up the car on Fri but it's a hit or miss if I can do it.
Dreading a hill start with cars behind.

Cheers

Engage handbrake.

Before moving away, press down on the brake pedal, disengage the handbrake and build revs while your foot is still on the brake. Clutch-bite remove foot for brake and move away. Contorted face of concentration with dire consequences of getting it wrong is a must in this scenario. wink Reverse is even more "interesting".

Alternatively buy a new S with hill start....

Congratulations on your acquisition and enjoy in good health.

It does take a bit of getting used to G. Hill starts just hold it up and keep pressed down on the button, don't let go until you build up some revs.

As it's got no weight in it I had to keep looking at the dash to check if it was on for the first couple of weeks!!
