Any ideas how to get in to the boot of a db9 when the power is turned off (the switch for which is in the boot!). I've had battery trickle charger issues and was playing around with the master on off switch. Now I've just gone and closed the damn boot lid. Grrrr

Remove the RH rear seat, then press the yellow Battery Connect Switch (BCS), then put the seat back.

You will have to re-set the seats though.

Thx. To you and George tho I'm still stuck. I've removed the battery cover now. There's no yellow switch. Mines a 2007, don't know if that makes a difference but there's no switch. Looks like I'll have to call the AA. I've even undone the battery terminals. Fed up!!

Strange, because the battery auto-reset came in on 09MY cars along with the glass ECU.

Ah well mines a 2007. Does that explain it? Still don't know what to do though. Have to be AA I reckon

Then the switch is under the right hand rear seat cushion. There is a diagram in the Owners Manual.

Yeh i know it ought to be there but believe me it isnt. I've looked at it hundreds of times and pressed everything possible. The top cover, interestingly, has a slightly different cut out shape..not so much a circular hole as almost a question mark shape. I'm back home at the weekend so I'll try the AA first. There's got to be a way. Makes you yearn for good old fashioned mechanical key locks doesn't it?!
