Door Mirror

Folks, The nearside door mirror on my 05 plate DB9 has packed up insofar as it will go up and down but not side to side when using the remote.

Defective remote switch on the drivers door or defective mechanism in the mirror itself ?

I'd say the mirror was more likely because both left AND right don't work. If it was the switch it would be more likely that just left OR right didn't work.
