Help with headlights

Does anyone know if it is possible to adjust the high beam alignment (DBS)? I was out in mine tonight and the beam is no higher than the dip beam. I have to say its none too bright either. Is a bulb upgrade possible too?
I could look in the owners manual but don't want to dog ear it
Behr - don't you have a special AM bookmarker ?? £399 in all good booksellers I could look in the owners manual but don't want to dog ear it
There have been posts recently on the 'not so brilliant' quality of AM headlights across the range, but I maintain that driving an Aston in the dark is a complete waste of money anyway

You can test the levelling system by pointing the car at a wall (not quickly ) and flashing the headlights. On main beam, the system lifts the lights to give better range - you can see the beam raising.

Sometimes higher wattage bulbs can have the opposite to intended effect. The heat generated from the higher power bulbs can break down the reflective coating on the inside of the headlight. I don't think this will be your case because of the modest power increase.
True - which is why I only use them in main beam as it only gets used for short periods.I think half of the problem is that my regular car is a Discovery 4 which has headlights much higher in the air, on a much higher plane than the Aston lights. The Astons dip beam could still be higher though, along with the high beam which, on my car, does absolutely no good whatsoever. It just spreads a more yellow glow within the already low dip beam. Not good when you're pressing on down a dark B road in the middle of the night.
I have checked that the lights do motor up and down on startup so I assume there is nothing wrong with the electronics, maybe just the adjustment of the lamps themselves. Surely the physical adjustment of the lamps is a manual affair with the electronics adjusting the lamp elevation within the preset limits - the system has no way of taking reference from the lamps beam therefore it simply thinks its adjusting them correctly depending on vehicle loading and rake? I'm further guessing that the high beam also has its own adjustment as part of this.
