In attempt to (a) be able to post a pretty picture on the "non black / grey / silver thread" and (b) feel the wind on my hair whilst I still have some, I'm looking to potentially change my Tungsten V8V for a 4.7 Roaster.
This one in particular has caught my eye: http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2959577.htm
I have been to see the car and, according to the dealer, the previous owner is serial Aston owner and currently has an "S" Roadster. I was wondering if it's another PH'er, or if anybody knows the previous owner.
Always nice to know the provenance of a car and, of course, be aware of any 'history'. For the record, there's no reason to suspect there's anything untoward.
Any encouragement would be also gratefully received - it's a lot of £££

Yep, also clocked that one and inquired before I went to see it.
Car was originally all blue leather ex-factory. The dealership has the seats re-trimmed in sandstorm because it's basically an easier colour combination to sell.
Obviously better if it was always like this, but I much prefer the sandstorm seats. Just wish they'd done the door inserts at the same time.

I was thinking it could be Mikey K's old car Adam
That was my first suspicion too. Would have been a bonus for sure.Might need a new battery though, the way he goes through them
Nice spec but not my first one.
It is later, manual, black and cream interior with a lood of other different options.
I guess is has no roof and the sport pack so that is the same

This is the first time i hear something like that!! Car was originally all blue leather ex-factory. The dealership has the seats re-trimmed in sandstorm because it's basically an easier colour combination to sell.
And to be honest, it doesnt sound right... It just costs too much to re-trim the seats. They would have been better of with the original colour just maybe reduce the price a bit...!
