Brake pad bedding in?
Discussion
Hi all,
I have read on some threads that the V8V pads are 'quite fussy' when bedding in??? Do the pads need any special treatment when bedding in? I am planning on fitting these with a pal who is a mechanic to save a few pennies this time as the car has cost me quite a bit recently due to the demise of DMS.
Thanks
Paul

Check the handbrake cable is free and the handbrake pads aren't dragging.
They are rumoured to be Pagid pads badged by Brembo for Aston Martin
They should come with a stainless steel & plastic shim designed to prevent them squealing.
I ended up putting a little copper grease on them to "help"
I use this bedding guide
