Following the snow in my neck of the woods, and subsequently not being able to refuel since Thursday thanks to the fuel flap not liking my suggestion of opening on demand (finally managed to open it with some patience and WD40 yesterday), I finally got some driving time in.

It still amazes day to day, wafting through town and then launching on demand down empty country roads. I still have to answer at least one question per fuel stop and it still makes me smile when I walk up to it after a long day in the office.

I know 2 seaters aren't for all, but I do wonder how one could better spend this kind of money when wanting a fun, 2 seater.

Hopefully something simple like battery - mind you, yours is only a few months old! Cold weather plays havoc with batteries.

Better, no, but as good and for comparatively pennies http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2877834.htm

They're so absurdly cheap now I might just go and get one this afternoon. Running coats are Aston level, I had a great specialist!

They're brilliant - certainly not the last word in handling in Spyder form, but perfectly adequate and what an engine, what a sound smile

I have been wearing them on my head to keep warm, the system works! Warm head and chats with strangers during fuel stops

We've had two liberal coverings of snow in Guildford. No more than 4 inches each time (4th and 9th Feb)spin

Nice cars, my friend has one - not done a sound comparison yet... hmmm. You are right - a genuine performance bargain, running costs aside.

I disagree. I had a manual 4200 and when I sold it it had 72k miles on it. I had 3 years of European touring, track days and general thrashing about in it, it was utterly brilliant and (with a few modifications) went like a rocket. The only reason I sold it was it didn't have a ragtop... and I ended up getting rid of it and my DB7 to find the DB9.

At that money I am sorely tempted to get back into one, however, 3 grand more gets me less miles and the vastly superior MY2004 car with glass rear screen and a much stiffer chassis. Hmm...

The GranTurismo-blinging game is fun smile

You have a 1000W stereo? How? Have you had B+O retrofitted? Or do you mean the 950W Linn system?
