Has anyone had a stone chip protection done on there V8V(S)?

I was thinking of sort of a partial clear wrap.

In any case where does it normaly get "hit" and therefore need protection?

Yes and some wink
You need to get all you paint prep, correction and polishing done before hand as it will seal it in.
I had the 3M Venture shield kit put on mine.
Full V12V kit plus the full bonnet.
I'm glad I did I had a can go bouncing up the bonnet the other week.
Not a mark on it! smile

What do they charge in the UK for the VentureShield full kit including installation?

Is there any problem with it yellowing or degrading over time?

Is there other systems that are good?

Mine was £800 including full bonnet
3 year warranty on material and 1 year on install
Never seen or heard of any UV issues with the 3M Venture Shield
You do get it on some of the cheaper stuff and "helicopter tape"
