V12 Vantage - Sonic Enhancements
Discussion
You may recall (from a December thread) that I made some modifications to my V12 Vantage exhaust system with Stuart's help (RSC)when he was last in Vancouver. We also shot some video on the cold and wet streets of Vancouver (not ideal conditions, it must be said)which has just been turned into the following blockbuster. For those who might be interested, here's a link. How do you think it sounds?

very interested to see more video as I'm on the verge of buying a louder exhaust for mine.
however I found it a bit frustrating that I couldn't hear the car at high revs where it's of particular interest to me. very little of that sounded north of 4000 rpm, presumably to do with the wet weather?
Ideally I'd like the car to sound quieter at low revs, not at all interested in 'turning heads' on start up, but rather howling my way up a betunnelled alpine pass.
did you take any more footage?
by the way after talking to someone that knows at the factory I'd say 20bhp gain is a conservative estimate. the standard cats are very restrictive.
lovely car though, which black is that?

Here's another bit of video that was taken just after the modified system was installed. The car is a Special Carbon Black edition.

Cool that 100 cpi cats are what's used, though we had to use 200cpi to get through MOT emissions tests... maybe only in the UK though?
These cats are the secondary cats. The primaries are in the manifolds. That's why they're only 100 cell. Oh, and I think it sounds good too.
