you obviously have never had any involvment in power boats try 5gal per mile.....or 0.2 MPG
Certainly not power boats of that size/calibre. Little matter I'm only a factor of 10 out!i remember a pal of mine who told me it cost him £26000 to fill his boat......even a small 35ft power boat these days costs £2000 to fill it.....they must be mad (and very rich).....just to amuse you a recent article in one of the boating mags
A boat measuring more than 71 meters consumes a staggering 500 liters of diesel an hour, according to Superyachts.com—and that's only if the engine is on but the boat isn't moving.
If you want to actually go anywhere, you will be spending over €2,000 an hour, based on cruising speeds of between 15 and 22 knots. So, a 10-hour cruise in one of the larger motor yachts will cost you over €20,000 in fuel, based on the current price of diesel in France.
Smaller yachts can hold around 5,000 liters of fuel, while the larger ones have capacity for up to 400,000 liters. It can cost in the region of €500,000 to fill the tanks of the largest yachts.

Do the filling stations have armed guards to ensure you don't float off without paying.
