Click on colour retrieval, agree the disclaimer then put in Aston Martin for the keywords.

I'm starting to get predictable rolleyes

Robbie - just had a look on dupont and I cannot locate QS - is it not somewhere on the car itself ?

if it is the same as the V8V then on top of the radiator underneath the panel at the front of the engine, that covers it.

It's also behind one of the panels in the boot. Do you have a coupe? If so, there is a sticker on the frame inside of the pull off panel where the navigation system drive goes. It's a bit difficult to see, but it's easier than removing the panel in the engine bay.

Are those little card things in the pockets of the manual not something to do with the paint too?

Bond 22 was the working title of Quantum of Solace until it was named.
Aston Martin were probably working on the paint colour too until they came up with a name to match the film...

Quantum Silver.

Thanks for the interesting education Ice.

Shame they were unable to find a suitable actor to front the film, you know one that can be understood and doesn't mumble his lines.

Should never have let go of the Jock smile

Robbie,

Bond22 and Quantum Silver are the names but the actual DuPont paint code is AST5073D.

Sean Connery? Bit old - "Quantum of saga holidays", "Casino, oh, not for me dear, need to change my incontinence pad".

Bless you for sticking up for your non-resident, tax-exile, fellow Scot...

Thank you for blessing me Father !!

Mr Connery is a fierce advocate of Scottish Independence. I cannot imagine him ever avoiding his Scottish taxes... rolleyes

I just watched Daniel Craig in 'Cowboys and Aliens' - couldn't understand a single word he said. I understand that the acting demise of van Damme has left a hole, but surely they didn't have to replace him, did they smile

Connery likes Scotland so much - he doesn't even live there!

I believe that Mr Craig plays an American in that movie. So I expect this is what's termed "acting"...

Top tip for the day to my blue chum... watch Layer Cake instead. Added bonus of Siena Miller in Agent Provocateur skimpies...
