I though all CBs came with the Light weight seats? There are now two for sale and both have the normal sport seats.

Are they proper "carbon black edition" cars or just cars painted carbon black?

All the carbon black edition cars have the following over standard:

• Carbon Black metallic paintwork
• Carbon-fibre side strakes with Black mesh inserts
• 10-spoke forged alloy gloss black painted wheels with diamond turned finish
• Bright finish grille
• Front parking sensors
• Lightweight seats
• Obsidian Black leather and Alcantara interior trim
• Piano black facia and centre console trim
• Anodised black tread plates
• Unique sill plaques

I guess John is right and they're just painted carbon black, not actually the 'edition'.

No, it's a no cost option to have the sports seats and they come with alcantara inserts. You don't get the difference refunded though.
