Can anyone recommend a bodyshop (Aston Martin Approved) that can fix the headlight to tail scratch that some bar steward put in the side of my car.

These are based near Manchester Airport so easy to drop off and get the train back to Leeds:
http://www.bluebellbodyshop.com/aboutus.html but know nothing about them jsut a Google search for "Aston Martin Approved Bodyshop"

Pictures of the malicious scratch here:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/48848104@N03/64930061... - this is the detailer Tom Blackmore's Flickr stream and he's done a good job of getting it out on the back and front wings (I can see it, but if you didn't know it was there you wouldn't) but the door is still visible to the untrained eye.

So a bodyshop near or preferably in Leeds would be good, but happy to travel and hour or so. I'll go to JCT to get a quote and Bluebell next week when I go to Manc Airport anyway.

Bizarrely Blue Bell are a BMW/Mini dealer and 1/2 mile down the road from the Wilmslow Aston service depot.
Not sure they are even part of Stratstones (as AM Wilmslow is ?)
Try posting in your local area section http://pistonheads.com/gassing/forum.asp?h=0&f...
They ought to know where the decent bodyshops are smile

Or post in here for feedback on Blue Bell wink

Not sure which part of Yorkshire you are in but if it's towards the North you might want to consider these:

http://www.astonservicing.com/facilities.html#

They can collect your car and take it from there. I have not used them for bodywork but their review was first class when I used them for a second year service.

Worth a look if you want an Aston body workshop.

Was looking for Aston Approved from a resale value point of view rather than from a buyer's perspective "any old bodyshop"

You're not replacing parts or doing anything complicated. Spray is spray, and as long as its done by an experienced sprayer with the relevant facilities (eg temperature, dust controlled spray booth) then all should be good. I don't think going to an approved workshop will make any real difference. In fact, if you advertise the fact that you had to respray parts of it (no matter who did it), that alone will put certain people off and affect resale value.
