Back in the fold and its feeling good!!!!

The deed is done... I was having way to much fun to post yesterday but you all know what that feels like..... sorry about the length of the post...
I’m not sure I slept most of last week as the excitement was building and I even made it up to the garage to see it mid week which didn’t help as I couldn’t pick it up. That said I did get to meet Francis(Paddy 328) who did a great job of detailing the car... trouble is I’m sure I went for the black car!!!
In case you wondered what Francis looks like
So by the time we got to Friday I think I was mumbling in my sleep, black N400.... 400BHP...... microspun facia..... sports pack wheels.... uuuummmmm Woke up yesterday morning to -5 as I took the 2hr drive up McGurk, but as we got closer you could see those great views of the countryside as the frost starts to melt on the trees and you get the really bright sun reflecting off the fields.... couldn’t of picked a better day to pick the car up... oh apart from at -3 I wasn’t going to drop the roof... one has man flu...
The guys looked after us really well... hot tea... really helped and with all the normal paperwork done it was time to see the car, as I walked through the door it hit me the smile/grin from ear to ear.... I’m not sure I’ve ever smiled so must in such a short space of time... Excuse the picture... it was early, but they did remove the number plate holder which saved me a job.
Now this will make a few of you smile and I’m putting it down to not having one for a while... climbed into the car turned the key and nothing.... sat puzzled, then tried again, still nothing.... then I spotted that big red button in my peripheral vision and it all came flooding back... quick look around to make sure no one spotted my error.... and then clutch down and wooooommm!!!! The beast burst into life... and boy it sounded good. Thats the noise I remember and probably at least half the reason you own one of these amazing cars has to be for the noise it’s so incredible.
Had a great drive back getting reacquainted and boy was it a great feeling, the power the pure adrenalin as the exhaust lets the real noise loose on the general public... it’s probably true to say we had a spirited drive home .
Unfortunately reality had to happen so I had to do some work but I did manage to get out late yesterday afternoon for another drive and took some more pictures.
Looking forward to seeing you all at the next drive out and thanks once again for all your advice as its one of the things that really makes this forum a place to keep coming back to.
